Crafting a signature scent is part science, part art. At Aroma Designers, it all begins with inspiration—whether it’s the ocean breeze at a coastal resort, a leather armchair in a luxury suite, or the sweet, comforting notes of childhood. From there, our team translates emotions and experiences into elegant scent profiles.
Step 1: Discovering the Mood
The first step is to define the emotional impact. Do we want a scent that calms? Energizes? Feels luxurious or familiar? This helps guide the top, middle, and base notes that will shape the olfactory experience.
Step 2: Blending the Notes
Next comes the oil selection. Our perfumers carefully combine essential-based oils to create a balanced, long-lasting fragrance. A good example is our Enigma—inspired by Westin® Hotels—which blends white tea, lemon, and bergamot to evoke sophistication and serenity.
Step 3: Testing & Refining
Once the blend is created, it goes through rounds of diffusion testing in various diffuser models. We test scent strength, distribution, and longevity in different spaces. Only after it performs beautifully in our machines is it released to you.
Step 4: Pairing With the Right Diffuser
Some scents are ideal for cozy spaces while others need room to bloom. We always recommend a diffuser based on both the fragrance intensity and the area you’re scenting.
